Google Business Profile management for Brisbane businesses
Your profile is often the first thing a local customer sees, before they ever reach your website. I set it up properly, keep it active and help you earn, and answer, more reviews.
Customers judge you in the map before they visit your site
When someone searches for a service near them, Google shows a map with a handful of businesses before the regular results. Your name, rating, photos, hours and reviews are all there, and plenty of people decide from that alone.
Reviews do a lot of the persuading. Almost everyone reads them, and Google is where most people go to find them. An unmanaged profile with old photos and unanswered reviews quietly sends customers to your competitors.

Wrong categories
Your primary category is one of the strongest signals for which searches you appear in. Many profiles pick the closest-sounding option, not the right one.
Missing services & areas
Service lists and service areas left blank, so Google has to guess what you do and where you do it.
A stale profile
Photos from years ago and no recent posts. Customers notice, and a dormant profile gives them little reason to choose you.
Unanswered reviews
Reviews left without a reply, good or bad. Responses show future customers how you treat people.
Inconsistent details
A different phone number or address on your website, profile and directories creates doubt for customers and for Google.
Rule-breaking shortcuts
Keywords stuffed into the business name or fake reviews. Both breach Google’s guidelines and can get a profile suspended.

I work from home. Do I have to show my address?
No. If you travel to your customers, you can set up as a service-area business, hide your address and list the suburbs you cover instead.
My profile was suspended. Can you help?
Often, yes. Suspensions usually come from details that don’t match Google’s guidelines. I’ll work out the likely cause, fix it and help you through the reinstatement request.
Can you get me more reviews?
I’ll set you up with an easy, compliant way to ask real customers for reviews at the right moment. I never write, buy or incentivise reviews, because that breaches Google’s policies and can get your profile penalised.
How is this different from SEO?
Your Google Business Profile controls how you appear in Google Maps and the local map pack. SEO controls how your website ranks in the regular results. They support each other, and most local businesses benefit from both.
Is your profile helping or hurting?
Send me your business name and I’ll check your profile as part of a free health check.
